Recent global shifts including the Covid pandemic and a massive drop in international aid has made life even tougher for the 70% of people living on under $2.10 a day.
But there is incredible hope here too. Local communities are fiercely self-reliant, and inspiring teachers have set up their own pre-schools from scratch in their local communities. Mwana partners with 3 of these pre-schools: Moana, Golden Kids Park Academy and Future4all. We help teachers buy high-quality learning resources such as classroom materials, early learning books and stories, fun toys and outdoor play equipment.
